Reading on June 27th from 5:30 pm

LAMEBA brings together nearly 70 declarations of love for a city that is one of the most photographed and visited in the world: Barcelona. The nearly 70 authors, such as Carles Puigdemont and Josep Carreras, offer us their very personal insights and perspectives on this city. With short stories and beautiful photos, they transport us to their Barcelona as we've never seen it before. "For everyone who loves or wants to love Barcelona."

An interesting connection to the current exhibition is provided by the young artist Gemma Solá Sotos, who herself hails from Barcelona and studied art there. While Gemma is not directly involved in LAMEBA, her perspective as an artist from Barcelona underscores the diversity and vibrancy of this city.

We are pleased to inform you that the gallery will be moving location. This is an exciting change that will give us the opportunity to explore new avenues and make our offerings and programs even more exciting and diverse.

We are looking forward to moving into new premises in spring 2025 and until then we will continue to be there for you with full energy and enthusiasm and to hold exciting events, exhibitions and projects. The gallery will continue to operate as usual.

In the meantime, from 15 December we will be guests at Galerie Treppe B, Flatowallee 16 in the Le Corbusier house. We are planning a series of special online and pop-up exhibitions, as well as collaborations and events, to continue to give you the opportunity to experience our artists and works - no matter where you are.
